Bachelor of Divinity

The B.D. degree course is of four years duration. Students are required to be registered as internal (full time residential) students. The course is to be taught and examined. The course is to be taught and examined in English.

A candidate will be required to pass in 26 papers and a thesis (or 2 papers in lieu of thesis) besides satisfactory completion of the field work (practical work) and passing the elementary examination in a biblical language ( Hebrew or Greek) to qualify for the B.D. Degree, 12 Papers will be examined by the senate and rest plus thesis will be examined by the College.

The Degree of Master of Theology (M. Th.)

The following persons may be permitted to register for the M. Th. Degree program of study.

A persons who has passed th eB.D. examination of the Senate of Serampore College in First or Second class and passed at least second class grade in the Branch in which he or she plans to do the M. Th. Course
